One of my friends is getting married next week 
(you can expect some snaps on that front next week!) I am just returning after having a sunday lunch with her. She was telling she is having marriage blues. On one hand she is looking forward for it but she is also slightly scarred about the commitment thing! what are your thoughts folks??
The above picture is around 25 years old. Its from my parent’s wedding in 1980. Look at the happiness in everyone’s face. Its all about the moment. I am sure my mom and dad will still look at this snap and have a smile

Well as I got married in June last year I know full well what the poor lady is going through. What I can tell you is that it is a good thing to think of it all up front. Me being as awkard as I am didn’t do that and have since spent the last 6 months in shock over my situation – i.e. that I am married. Some days I feel that I have been rolled into a uniform shape by the ‘machine’ and then had a uniform cake cutter make me look pretty – when in actual fact all I wana be is in no particular shape. Other days I think how lucky I am….. it has gotto be said that it is a difficult path whatever but in the whole (I hope) that it leads you to a unique inner fulfillment that you can actually share. One worth waiting for I hope!
Well tell your friend good luck and to enjoy the day as it really is great fun; although the hangover can hurt!

What your friend is feeling is very common. I have felt the same, I was not sure if I did the right thing. I guess I realized soon enough that there is no right or wrong thing when it comes to marriage. Just accept your situation soon enough and take it one day at a time. Enjoy the moment, its your wedding.
