On the lines of media and especially phones check these sites:

  • 15×15.org/ - The site says: In 1968 Andy Warhol stated that: ‘In the future, everyone will be world-famous for 15 minutes‘ … the viewable artwirk is an interface consisting of 15 individual rectangular screens, each individual screen displays a random video clip stored within the database for a 15 second duraction: 15×15
  • Nokia N-series Video Studio - a cool display of videos taken from the N93 phones and more … note: this rss link can be use to subscribe to video podacasts for the iPod

The trends clearly pointed towards where we - the current generation are heading - from the ages of information world to network world to connected world and finally a media rich world. Its no longer text limited … the future is far richer and engaging, colourful and of course bright!

And of course - I have been mobile photoblogging (take the picture and blog it to the internet directly using GPRS - recently I am doing video-blogging too) for a good 2 whole years! And believe me me its just fascinating … Click here to see a sample. Guess was a very early adopter but I feel in a year or two atleast the ones who are reading this will be photoblogging definitely!

That’s true. The information revolution and mass communication is improving by leaps and bounds. The next big industry is supposed to come from there. It will also give a fillip to what is called citixen journalism.
